Fuselage (page 3)
October 26, 2008 5.5hrs - 373.5 total.
Finished marking fence pieces. Took
inventory of drill bits and hole saws and had
to make a trip to the store to get some
more. Spent about an hour documenting
some changes that need to be made to the
plans and e-mailed them to Terry.

Started drilling holes in fences.
October 28, 2008 3.5hrs - 379.0 total.
Finished making the fence pieces. Reviewed
plans for mounting rails on jig. I think I'll wait
and cut the bulkheads out before I mount
the rails so I can use the jig base as a work
bench.  Not a lot of space in my "shop" now,
and there will be a lot less once the jig rails
are mounted and the fence pieces are
installed!
This photo is of the prototype during the
earlier phases of construction.
Tracing the full size bulkhead templates onto the plywood.
October 29, 2008 3.0hrs - 382.0 total. Sorted through plans and pulled out all the bulkhead
templates. Cut out template and traced part of bulkhead 12 and all of bulkhead 8 onto 1/4" baltic
plywood.
October 30, 2008 4.0 - 386.0 total. Finished tracing BH 12. Rough cut BH 8 and both parts of BH
12 from plywood.  Started finish cutting and drilling. Broke jig saw blade and blade holder bracket.
Will need to fix the bracket to continue fine cutting.
Both pieces of BH 12 and all of BH 8 rough cut. BH 8 will hold the instrument panel on the
upper part and the lower half is where your legs pass through to reach the rudder pedals.
